As a precondition Subsembly Wallet Mobile requires that the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework is present on the mobile device. On all Windows Mobile based devices starting with Windows Mobile 2003 the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework is already pre-installed by the manufacturer. For Pocket PC 2002 and older Pocket PC devices, the .NET Compact Framework can be downloaded for free on the Microsoft homepage.
Subsembly Wallet for Windows PC and Subsembly Wallet Portable require that the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is installed on the computer. The .NET Framework 2.0 is already included in Windows Vista. For older Windows operating systems it is available through the integrated Windows Update feature.
